PS3 Compatibility

Postby JFD62780 » Wed Mar 23, 2011 6:44 pm

Here's one from all the way outta left field:

My PlayStation 3's Web Browser had no real beef with this site. Then came the engine upgrade. Seems the custom reskinning sorta broke compatibility to the point where there are no Login links at the individual topic pages, and the main forum page looks near-COMPLETELY bare, aside from the usual tilted grid background. I WOULD pester the dudes that made the system software to upgrade the browser, but that task in itself is like the average Joe, just TRYING to get a job at Hollywood: "Good luck with that!" :P

I'm just letting you know since I regularly use my PS3 for the Net, because of its WiFi capabilities, and because my PC doesn't have such capabilities. Don't ask. :P

Buy me a new TV and a Playstation 3, and I'll fix it :P

In all seriousness though, unless I can see what's actually going on with your PS3, I don't see how there's anything I can do about it. Any chance you could screenshot it?

First off, can you suggest an app that can capture live still images from a DirectShow-based camera? I just got the PlayStation Move for Christmas and I wanna put that Eye to use--it's the only working camera I have...
