Sega Music on CD

Postby Andre » Wed Oct 05, 2011 2:22 am

Hi ! Is there anyone record/burning MegaDrive / SMS / GG Music on CD (as Audio Tracks) that I could acquire or trade? I am willing to pay that service +shipping or trade it in for my own recorded C64 Sid Audio CDs for example. I can also offer some Audio-CDs recorded from my Gamegear. I look forward to any offer or hints.

First of all, the only thing that we do here is rip music from Sega/Mega CD and Genesis games. If you are looking for anything GameGear or Sega Master System-related, please have a look at http://www.smspower.org/. They have an extensive selection of music in the SMS's raw format.

We are unable to assist in trading video game music burned to compact discs.

However, please feel free to search for the game you need, and download the rip. All the games and albums ripped are posted in the downloads section. Open the VGM tracks (or .m3u file) in a media player with the in_vgm plugin installed. Rip the desired tracks to WAV, and then burn them to a CD. I assume this process should be fairly simple, since you seem to have a grasp on creating your own media.

Thanks for the help and info!

Is there anybody who downloaded the files from Project2612 and could send them to me on a CD, so I don't have to download them tediously with my slow connection?

I am willing to pay for the service.
Kind regards,
Andre

It would really be helpful if this site had a way to download all the files at once.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think Monkeymook made a torrent of complete archive, so you should ask him about that.
