You're very welcome, epilis, although the vast majority of thanks go out to everyone who have also contributed to the site (the real MVPs), past and present.

Did some minor track corrections and M3U update, and it has been added to the July Update Pack and appended to the changelog. Thanks for your contribution!

Which corrections have been made? I'm curious, cause I thought the set was fine.

Btw, I check the changelog and I see you added Fatman. That set was only logged, it has no trimming made, so is far of a finished set.

Thanks for keeping this project alive

See ya

I changed the filenames from "%tracknumber% %trackname%" to "%tracknumber% - %trackname%", and corrected it in the M3Us. Also compressed all the tracks and compressed the PNG file. Also, the TXT that was included uses a bandwidthmonkey URL, which is not online. I'll be leaving the URL alone for the time being though.

I have a note appended to Fatman in the "Packs that need work" thread. Thank you for your work on it and your contributions as well!

We really need someone very dedicated to take over ftp website updating for good.

This is silly good things come to those who wait but not if it's not been for 2 blooming years it's not so someone should take it over someone who would upgrade it with every new set as soon as it's out on the proper site.

This is great for the meanwhile though but whoever is in chaarge it's time to hand over your reigns to someone else mate as 2 years is taking the mickey it means no dedication whatsoever.

I sort of wish VGMRips takes over the work here. They do exactly what I've always wanted out of this site.

That's the problem. No one is in charge. Some of the original members, such as DJSW, DukeNukem, and Dark Pulse have moved onto other things, without having any major discussion (that I'm aware of) as to who should take over. There's literally less than 10 people on here that post regularly (although I see others such as RichterX, donluca, vaimpirefrog, you, and Koto fairly often as well).

Doommaster1994 used to handle updating the sql set listing for new packs and contributed to massive amounts of composer updates (but they ran into IRL obligations and are temporarily AFAIK unable to contribute to the site), and I used to upload the new packs to the FTP, as I have privs for it, and VB would make the sets live with the new SQL file), but the biggest issue, is that although there is a specific form for uploads, I don't have the time to experiment with it enough to find out if new sets can be uploaded without an issue. I stay fairly busy with my personal life and work.

Another problem I'm running into, is that many of the sets that are already on the site have been updated (and changes made to them were not appended to the TXT files), or still need to be updated (such as running many of the packs through vgm_cmp, but some of the packs would break because their tracks will have compatibility problems.

Before I stepped up, sets were being posted all over the place in the forums, and multiple outdated versions of sets with little to no notation on them as to what had been done were just...everywhere. And Dark Pulse rarely posted to the site anymore, so ValleyBell was literally the only person who was really running this ship until I joined and volunteered to help (mainly because I really liked this site and what it offered.)

I don't know how much progress would have been made had someone not stepped in to help contribute, but I agree, it would be nice to have help. I'm kind of at a loss for solutions.

Another issue was that prior to the new "upload set" page being made, updating the site was a pain in the butt, as the design of it on the FTP and host is very outdated and cobbled together.

If I can set aside some time, I can attempt to work on getting the new sets uploaded, and get the site updated some.

If you'd like to contribute suggestions, I'm all ears.

I think we should take a VGMrips alike system

The set collection will be sorted alphabetically, so each subforum would be a letter... And each set would be posted at its very own thread.

This could be tedious at the beginning, but I think is the best way to keep the site alive and kicking, cause regular updates seems to be very difficult to do.
