Should arrangers be credited alongside the original composer

Post by drdevil »

My question is, should arrangers be credited alongside the original composers on VGM packs? I think they should, because the arranger is just as important as the composer in many cases, especially when the arrangement is completely different from the original. When just the original composer is credit, it can be misleading, as it may lead people to think that the arcade composer also worked on the home version.

Sure, you can add "(arranger)" to them.

Okay. I'll have a look through many of the sets and make updates if needed. I could change the artist tags to something like "xxx arr. yyy"
