It's been a while since I cannot post here. Seems the problem is solved.

I have corrected the following sets:

Pyramid Magic II: 3 themes were not logged properly. There should be no more problems with them.
Phantasy Star II Text Adventures sets: "Unused Theme" tagged as "Game Over".

Both sets uploaded to Dropbox, replacing the old ones.

See ya

Chess (Unl) also hasn't been ripped yet. Could someone rip VGMs from that game? I haven't been able to rip it with success due to the game's looping tracks not being looped properly.

I just checked the game and it uses a VGM-like format internally, so looping should be no problem at all.
Anyway, I guess I can just write a quick converter that does a lossless conversion from the game's sound format to VGM.

Alright. :sonic:

Wait a sec, do you know what sound engine it uses?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see Kolibri mentioned here. I've been working on a rip for some time (on and off), but maybe someone has already logged it?

I'm not sure if the list features 32x games at all, but I don't think anyone is doing 32x rips at all currently.

drdevil: I'd say it's a custom sound engine. It's also very simple.

EDIT: Attached the Chess (Unl) VGM rip, the C source code for the converter and a .txt with some notes.
I'm pretty sure the song auto detection found all songs.
Two of the jingles are present two times for whatever reasons.
Two songs loop. Of these songs one loops well and the other one just ... loops.

Monkeymook edit: Uploaded pack removed. Files have been added to Dropbox to be reviewed. Thank you.

A quick update to everyone that posted these new updates:

Thank you for the hard work, and my apologies for the year+ delay.

I'm currently downloading and checking all updates that have been posted in this thread and others, and will be working with VB again to get these new updates posted on the site (unless they already are; I haven't checked yet).

What I'd like to do, is invite anyone who is currently doing any logging, editing, or tagging for files, to my personal dropbox folder created to consolidate the new additions and try to keep the forum postings to a minimum, while the main threads for updates or needed sets can be updated and stay clutter-free.

I'll be updating a few posts and collecting all the existing packs that are timestamped for a later date than the most recent 2612 update I created.

If you have questions, please ask.

If you'd like to be invited to the folder, send me a private message with your email address (you WILL have to create a DropBox account if you do not have one - don't worry, it's 100% free), and I will have you added to the folder asap.

IMO posting the new packs on the forum is fine.
This way everyone can have a listen before the site update and may contribute to the packs. (e.g. by filling in missing track and composer names)
This reduces the amount of updates for the packs on the site itself.

@Monkeymook: Consider August 26, 2014 as the last real "update" date. The smaller updates that followed were things I forgot during the initial update.

Thanks for all your hard work and all of those involved.

Is there an estimate on when the updated (and new) VGMs will go live?

Also, can you guys provide a single file download containing all the VGM packs?

One last thing: as the project grows, you may want to give a .dat file containing information on the current sets so people can use it to check if their vgm sets are up to date using clrmamepro (or any other software alike)
