How do I convert files from vgz to wav or mp3?

If you use Winamp, you can use Disk Writer. Just play the vgm and it will convert it to wav. If you want it in MP3, you can convert the resulting wav file using Audacity. (you'll have to download the LAME plugin first)

VGMPlay will log everything to .wav files if you edit VGMPlay.ini and set "LogSound = 1".
You need to do the conversion to MP3 with additional tools though.

I've been using XMplay for years with the in_vgm plugin. It also has a built-in WAV writing utility.
