Im gonna have to disagree, as buggy as Sonic Adventure was, I think it had some great moments and classic level design, namely in Sonics versions of Emerald Coast, Speed Highway and Lost World.

You're right it didnt need so many new characters, I think they wanted to show off the 3D engine :) Big the Cat was lovable, but so unnecessary to the story.

Also the voice acting was TERRIBLE (havn't seen worst since the original Resident Evil on PS1)

As for the Wii, im gonna go to Croydon (a place in London near where i live) soon to try and grab one as they have a couple of Game stores that are bigger than my local one.

Having finally played Sonic Adventure a couple months ago (Yeah, 8 years late... blow me) I agree with quite a lot of Frosty's statements, but I do agree some of the stories were stupid. The music and level designs were quite good though... and it was nice to hear some classic tunes remixed.

Agreed with the terrible voicework. The only ones that really fit were Tails, Amy, and possibly E-102 and Robotnik. Everyone else, especially Knuckles, just totally didn't fit... and I'm sure Squarewave cried for many hours over that voice. He's a big Knux fan... or was, at one point. Not sure if he still is.

Hmm... Sonic Adventure was alright, but that came before Sonic Heroes. I didn't personally like the story design with the town, and playing it now, the animations are terrible on cut-scenes etc!

They should just keep it simple.

Hehe, nice to see a fellow Mancunian on here!
Ive also noticed that Wiis are pretty much non-exisestent around these parts. How weird of Nintendo?

Hey, fellow Mancunian :D
Yeah...I don't understand, but there doesn't seem to be any here at all...

I mean...we have, er...loads of controllers...

There are also no demo machines you can play on. I haven't even played on it yet!

We can just switch to NTSC using a 60hz switch :p

I think I'm just gonna get the second Wiimote with Wii Play too, but that seems to be even rarer than the console itself :undecided:
I tried Amazon and Play and they're both out of stock

Also, with the Wii you can set it to 60hz in the main menu so ALL compatible games automatically switch unlike the Gamecube where you gotta switch every time you play...handy that.

Nifty. Hopefully with the next generation of TV Standards comes higher refresh rates, eh? The resolution advantages PAL had at the slower refresh is pretty moot in today's HD-Age. :p
