How come these computers aren't sold on eBay? English eBay, I mean. You can buy software, but not the hardware.

Most if not all sellers of Japanese computers (PC-88, PC-98, FM-7, FM-Towns, X1, X68000) are... yep, Japanese. Why should they sell those obscure systems to gaijins? English eBay is not a viable market for them, and I think there might even be recent electronic regulations that prevent them from exporting those ancient machines outside Japan.
