YM-2612 Tracker

Post by Jacko »

Hello,

I was wondering does anyone know of a tracker for the YM-2612 chip, I would like to start composing music on this chip.

A program simillar to Martin Konrads PSG Tracker would be cool.

Thanks,

Scott

There's one in development called SOME ("Sonic One Music Editor") that uses Sega's own SMPS system -- I have no idea how close to completion it is, though. Supposedly will have MIDI importing, though I can't imagine how well that'll work out.

Additionally: I hate trackers. Let me use my MIDI keyboard dammit!

Thanks DJSW I will have a look into this.

I would prefer to use MIDI as well as I have quite a nice set-up, I have had a look at fasttracker but I don't think that will fulfill my needs and desires.
