so apparently, no, it's not false. thanks for pointing that out, dude; now it's the mission of the resourceful to FIND such copy and dump it!

It's the SMS version (Japanese version, with a few modifications) in a cartridge with a Power Base Converter "built in". It has been dumped, the CRC32 is 07301F83.
